Welcome to The Everyday Sage

Welcome to The Everyday Sage! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This blog is where I hope to share my journey of aging authentically, embracing life’s quirks, and staying active and engaged as the years go by.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I’m inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds me. Aging is a privilege, and while the world often pushes anti-aging narratives, I focus on staying present, trying to embrace  life as it comes, and finding joy in the everyday.

My life is filled with many interests that keep things interesting. I’m super intrigued with true crime, and passionate about history—particularly English history, with all its fascinating twists and turns! Plants are another love of mine. They make any space feel alive and cozy, and caring for them is a grounding ritual. Add a few candles, and my home becomes a place of comfort and personality, filled with books and treasures collected over a lifetime, each with its own story.

Family is a big part of my life. I’m a proud grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren: twin six-year-olds and two little ones, just 9 and 8 months old. They bring so much joy and energy to my life!

Welcome to The Everyday Sage! It’s nice to meet you!

Through this blog and my YouTube channel of the same name, The Everyday Sage, my aim is to inspire others to embrace life as it is—imperfect and unpredictable, but full of possibility. Whether it’s sharing tips on staying active, creating a cozy home, or diving into stories from my interests and experiences, I want this to be a space that feels genuine and relatable. Life can be chaotic, but by focusing on what matters and staying present, we can find a sense of balance and fulfillment. I have linked the channel above, and I hope that you will take a look and follow along!

Thank you for being here. I’m excited to share this journey with you and hope you’ll find inspiration and connection in the stories I share. Here’s to living authentically and finding joy in every chapter of life.
